... the most outstanding interviewer of musicians yet. Not only does he do his homework, he is so musically literate that he can talk with musicians or composers in any genre on their level and in very specific terms, including discussing melody, phrasing, harmony, rhythm, compositional techniques, and more. His interviews with Gary Burton and Keith Jarrett are stunning, but then he can turn around and do equally extended and in depth interviews with Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, various studio musicians who worked with Steely Dan, Tori Amos, on and on. Style, genre, instrument, etc, don't matter ... he's on it.

Not to mention his videos on production, music theory, gear, bla bla bla.

He's among the great content creators on youtube.
