6. More than 50 years ago!

Went to several great concerts at the Amphitheater in those years. Humble Pie put on a great show. I remember seeing someone from the front row hand Steve Mariott a joint when he was doing a number from the Smokin' album.

Couple years later I was working a summer job. Talking about concerts with a coworker, he told me how he wrangled a front row seat at Humble Pie, and the guy next to him passed him a joint on a fancy roach clip. Steve Mariott was right in front of him, so after taking a hit he handed the joint up to Mariott who also partook.
