if this psychologist’s contention that “men are inferior to women in their psychological wiring” isn’t a bit of a cop-out. Are we to feel sorry, then, for those who are inclined to violence? My dh and I once entertained a man for lunch who told us that his father was a terrible misogynist and he, poor man, had “inherited” it from him. As if he expected us to soothe him for this.

I don’t think this is the right explanation. The fact that men can’t “give life” in the way that women can doesn’t make them inferior, and doesn’t make them insensate. I have no clue about the cure for misogyny, but I don’t think this is the cause.
