It's that time of year when I am afraid to look at what Pooper's playing with

Is it a mousie or a real mouse?? She will carry a real mouse around like a retriever carries a duck, very deliberately and gently. Then she likes to introduce me her new friend by dropping it on the bed. It inevitably runs off and the fun starts all over.


She has unearthed a very realistic looking mousie from somewhere and has been freaking me out all day. I’m not afraid of mice, I just don’t want them dropped in my lap. And because of my stupid cold, I really don’t feel like doing any mouse rescue and release missions.
