which he did a few times when mice got into the house (he was always an indoor cat). He seemed so much more excited when he bagged the real ones. He'd just bat the toys around but when he got a real mouse he'd toss it into the air and squeal with delight, like he was spiking the ball in the end zone. And then he'd eat it, crunch crunch crunch, which was sort of horrible.
