Surprising MLB history made in Oakland yesterday [View all]

S.F. Giants' Donovan Solano pinch-hit homerun in the eighth inning lifted the Giants to a 2-1 victory over the Atheltics, just one day after LaMonte Wade Jr.'s pinch-hit homer in the ninth gave the Giants the lead and a 6-5 victory as well.

It was the first time in major-league history that a team has hit pinch-hit homers in the eighth inning or later to erase a deficit and take a lead in back-to-back games.

Never happened in over a century of baseball? Amazing.
