I love hawks and eagles (especially bald eagles), but I know they and other carnivores have to eat. I don't particularly care to watch, but I know it's part of life, and I respect the skill required to be a successful predator.

Nature is beautiful in many ways, but it's also "red in tooth and claw," to quote Tennyson.
