I need to say this again. Tiny men's groups On Internet forums, MRA's, general misogynists or sexists are in no way, shape or form comparable to the feminist movement. Period. Anti-feminist groups have proliferated, but do not carry a positive message. They sound depressingly the same, unlike feminism, which is fluid, dynamic, argumentative and activist.

There a number of men's groups that are. I mean, you have your promise keeper types, how to be manly types, Rabid MRA types, but you also have men's groups out there working on redefining masculinity into something not toxic--an idea that came from these same men's groups, anti- rape groups, anti-violence groups groups that ally with feminism without feeling threatened.

When you set up a "movement" or group whose main purpose is to compare itself to something as powerful and as long lasting as feminism, a movement that is not only evolving, but responsible for positive changes (for one example-- there are others) you are a annoyance, not an 'enemy', not an alternative, not an opposite, not anything really.

Men have every right for a safe place to discuss particular issues. It's too bad they waste their time like that.
